Version 9.0.0 Released

Upgrade version 9.0.0 has been released. Version 9 of Phoenix is now available. The main focus of Version 9 was integrating it with www.themoviebroker.com, however we have had time to incoporate a few other enhancements: A new interface has been implemented to communicate with www.TheMovieBroker.com. A new switch and sale value is now available on each rental product copy. Also, a new interface program (TheMovieBroker Datalink) has been added to the system, and may be launched upon startup. The interface program will make sure the sale inventory listed on www.TheMovieBroker.com is current with your live Phoenix inventory as well as alert you to sales that have been made and need to be shipped to the customer. ADR Notes: A new configuration switch has been added to allow the transfer of Customer ADR Notes to the Client Notes field. To enable the transfer check the new Transfer ADR notes to Customer notes upon check-in switch in the system configuration. The ADR notes will be transferred during the EOD process before the ADR Note record is removed from the system. Customers: There are now two customer notes fields: Customer Notes and Transaction Notes. The notes that are in the new Transaction Notes field are what will be displayed at the transaction screen if you have enabled the show notes option. The notes in the Customer Notes area will only be displayed in the actual customer editor and on reports. During the upgrade process you will be prompted to move the current notes field to the new Transaction Notes field. You will be prompted twice, first for your main database, then a second time for your training database. Merchandise: A new Transaction Notes field has been added to the database. Any information you enter in this field will be displayed at the transaction screen when the item is sold (one time for multiple quantity items, or every time for multi/prompt items.). Leave this field blank if you do not wish anything displayed at the time of sale. Transactions: Added store telephone below city/state/zip on the Special 40 Column invoice definition. Transactions: Added item count display to the Batch Check-in screen (just below the ID number input box).

Service Pack version 8.0.19 has been released. This service pack corrects one issues.

8.0.19 has the Web Title Lookup adjusted for IMDB again and modified it so look to www.completesoft.com for a file to determine how to parse the IMDB information.

Version 8.0.18 Released

Service Pack version 8.0.18 has been released. This service pack corrects a couple issues.

8.0.18 has modified the Installation Verification Code to account for the new Daylight Savings Time changes. Also resolved a Runtime Error 3464 when clicking search on the P.O. Search when sorted by Vendor. Modified the subscription renewal task to make the CCV number to be a minimum of 3 digits to prevent card declines on numbers such as "035". In the merchandise we also fixed the issue of changing just the Price A/B/C button would not enable the Save button.

Service Pack version 8.0.17 has been released. This service pack corrects two issues.

8.0.17 has the Web Title Lookup adjusted for IMDB again and we've modified the credit card receipt (40-column) to hide the card number on both copies.

Version 8.0.16 Released

Service Pack version 8.0.16 has been released. If you use subscriptions in an area with a sales tax, you need to install this service pack.

8.0.16 corrects an error during the Automated Subscription Renewal process that caused the system to charge an incorrect tax rate for the subscription renewal.
